Doctor stabbed to death by suspected stalker Outdoors hospital

There was A doctor stabbed to death outside the hospital in which she worked on Wednesday evening, according to German press reports which say the woman had formerly reported for stalking, her suspected killer.

Press as a cancer expert Ester Pasqualoni and mother of those people who died after being stabbed in the throat has named the victim.

The attack took place in the car park of Sant’Omero hospital in Teramo, Abruzzo in central Italy as Pasqualoni was walking to her car at around 4pm on Wednesday.

A medic at the hospital’s emergency department, among the colleagues of Pasqualoni, was the first to locate her but was unable to save her lifetime.

“We’ve got an notion of who the killer may be and we’re looking for him,” authorities told the Ansa news agency. “It’s very probably a man or woman who had been bothering the victim”.

Pasqualoni had reportedly made a complaint to authorities about a stalker, and a friend of the victim stated in a Facebook tribute they had spoke “that evil man who chased you” many times.

Almost 3.5 million women from Italian have been victims of stalking, according to the latest statistics from federal statistics agency Istat, but just 22 percent of those report that the act or seek assist.

Italy has stepped up its attempts to handle violence that was gendered. Changes pushed through in the last couple of years include the mandatory arrest of those caught in the act of stalking or physical abuse, and a law significance that, when lodged, legal complaints can’t be withdrawn, and that victims have to be kept up to date in their attacker’s legal status.
