Here’s all the big video game holiday events going on – Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Tis the season to be cheerful and play with video games. It is a particular time of year, and a great deal of programmers are getting in on the fun. But with all these games and just so many hours daily, which ones do you make time for? Well, ideally our list of all of the major holiday events now going on can help you pick. Read below to see if your favorite sport has some holly jolly content to enjoy!

A few notes: this list doesn’t count any paid holiday-themed DLC. Simply free upgrades and patches for all you good little boys and women. We also don’t have room to list every match which has a Christmas event happening, so if your favorite game isn’t listed here and you also want the entire world to learn about it, don’t hesitate to talk in the comments.

All that being said: Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Battlefield 1 (End date: Dec 29)

Battlefield 1 is one of the renowned Christmas truce ceasefires that occurred during WWI with a new dog tag that most players get just for logging. People who log into before December 29 may also get one free Battlepack.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (End date: Jan  1)

Infinite Warfare’s Genesis map is now becoming a festive sprucing up, and players who log in will get daily gifts including winter-themed skins for their weapons, including Salvage and Key bonuses, and much more.

Destiny (End date: Jan 3)

The Tower’s hallway are completely decked, and Guardians everywhere can enjoy putting silly masks including evil snowmen and snowglobes on their heads. There’s also new armor, Sparrows, firearms, and a good deal more to accumulate. Just log into and the Dawning record book will set you on your way.

The Elder Scrolls Online (End date: Jan 4)

The “New Life Festival” provides a run of daily quests which you may partake in, that can make you some amazing, winter-themed things and crafting materials. You will need to speak with Breda out of Windhelm to get started.

FIFA 17 (End date: Jan 3)

Free Ultimate Team things (packs, coins, etc) are all yours just for logging in every day through FIFA 17’s unique holiday event.

Final Fantasy 14 (End date: Dec 31)

While any player can log into and revel in the decorations of their “Starlight Celebration,” people who speak to Amh Garanjy in the Steps of Nald in Ul’dah can start a quest chain which essentially turns you to the FF14 version of Santa’s little helper. Plus, you can also obtain a particular Santa ensemble and Christmas-y decoration items for your residence.

Final Fantasy 15 (End date: N/A)

No time limitation here: a free upgrade has added new, holiday-themed frames for Prompto’s camera, as well as new outfits for Noctis, and they can be chosen at any time. You will also receive tickets to the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, however that will not be added to the match until January.

Gears of War 4 (End date: Dec 28)

“Gearsmas” adds snowball fights, horrible sweaters, and a lot of festive weapon skins (including gingerbread, that is just the top). You’re going to need to cover the cosmetic products, but they can be paid for using in-game currency so it’s possible to conserve your Christmas cash for something different.

GTA 5 (End date: Jan 9)

GTA 5 single-player is the very same as ever, but what is happening in GTA Online? Oh you know, the usual holiday in Los Santos: masks for sale, discounts on firearms, bonus rewards for stealing automobiles. Additionally: snowballs and a free pair of pajamas to get logging into.

Overwatch (End date: Jan 2)

A distinctive brawl mode where everybody performs as Mei and flings snowballs at each other is readily available for a limited time, but the true draw of Overwatch’s Christmas upgrade is the absurd variety of skins, emotes, sprays, and more which can be gotten via particular loot boxes, that are only accessible during the occasion. Seriously, that Roadhog skin is my all.

Pokemon Move (End date: Dec 29)

A few Gen 2 Pokemon have been inserted to Niantic’s augmented reality collectathon program, even though they can simply be hatched out of eggs, so bundle up and get ready to trudge through the snowbanks to get a Togepi. Alternately, stay inside where it’s warm and hope this a Santa hat-wearing Pikachu will pop up.

Rainbow Six Siege (End date: Jan 3)

Rainbow Six Siege is pulling weapon charms and unique Christmas-themed skins to players who can complete special challenges between now and January 3. These challenges (and their rewards) change frequently, so you will want to log into daily if you wish to receive them all.
